I AM A CHRISTIAN


I am a Christian
Not by the title
that sounds assuring and peaceful
I'm a Christian
because of the blood shed
That bought me.

I am a Christian
Not because I live among them
Or because I was born into it
I'm a Christian
because the attitude of Christ
Is found in me.

I am a Christian
Not because I read about the Antiochians
Or because I'm mesmerized by their commitment
I am a Christian
Because Christ died
And He is risen.

I am a Christian
Not because I want to follow the multitude
who bear the title
I am a Christian
because I know the magnitude
Of the benefits therein.

I am a Christian
because I love Christ ,
the crucified.

THE TWINS (Ciara and Clara) Chapter 1 'Clara's pov' "Let's go" I urged Ciara. "No. I don't want to" she told me "Please, Let's go watch the dancers then we'll go look at the turtles together".
